Hi, my name is Philippe, I am 37 years old and I am currently studying at the University of Calais to do a professional degree in web development.
I have many hobbies, I like to go for long walks with my dogs. My latest hobby is brewing my beer. I brew 3 different tasting beers a year with my father-in-law and brothers-in-law. We call it "the beer of the sons-in-law".
I can do responsive mobile first. I know how to format the html tags to make a modern site while respecting the graphic charter.
I'm currently learning to use the symfony framework at school. I really like symfony, it allows to import bundles with already developed features.
I did Csharp in my first training. I worked in a group on a project where we had to create a car garage management software.
I can make php applications that communicate with a mysql database. I know how to create a rest api with the different verbs. I know how to create URIs and test my HTTP requests with Postman.
I know how to configure and use wordpress to make ecommerce sites with different payment methods. Wordpress is pretty cool to use and allows you to create a site very quickly for different needs.
In my school projects, I learned to create web services with the different verbs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and to consume an api. I know how to create a maven project, use swagger ui and use hibernate to generate my database.
I am a freelance developer since October 2019. I create websites with Wordpress for clients working in different sectors. You can see my work on this site. My last realisations are not present because I have to update my site I'm sorry. But it will give you the desire to come back and see.
I was a postman for several years. I liked my job very much but in 2017 I decided to change my job to become a web developer. I have good memories of those years at the Post Office with my colleagues. My mission was to distribute the mail, replace the operational manager, lead a briefing in the morning.
In this job I had to manage a team of 2 people on a small production line. It was a team job where we prepared the paper advertisements. Then the ads were distributed by the distributors.
I had to unload containers, repackage the goods, count the number of boxes and reload into trucks. It's a physical and difficult job. I liked the company but not the work.
It was a 6 month experience. I'm lucky to have family in Montreal so I wasn't alone. In this job, I had to work on a production line where we printed t-shirts and many other textiles. I loved my time in Canada
